"Bitch Slap" me again.

Bitch Slap.

Cast: Erin Cummings,Julia Voth
Writers: Rick Jacobson & Eric GruendemanDirector: Rick Jacobson
***’s out of four.

Three very sexy and very busty women emerge from a car in the desert.Trixie(Julia Voth),Hel(Erin Cummings) and Camero(America Olvio) They are there to find a buried treasure from a criminal’s hideout. Each woman has something that she is hiding from the other person, but will they be able to put aside their differences and find the jewels before any criminals or cops find out what they are up to?

“Bitch Slap” is homage to those exploitation/B- movies that were popular back when drive ins were huge. The opening credits even show clips of popular b movies from Roger Corman and Russ Meyer. Reviewing a movie like “Bitch Slap” is difficult because the filmmakers know that they are making a silly somewhat cheesy B picture with hot ladies, loads of action and a tongue placed firmly in cheek attitude. The way the story is told is very good and it does not go through the usual traditional ways of plot development. While the ladies are trying to outsmart the cops and criminals we are shown some crucial flashbacks that explain how they met and what their role in all of this is. B movies are rarely made because most filmmakers try to take it too seriously. There are scenes of the girls in random moments where they seductively dig a hole or become an involved in a slow motion water fight that is so obvious of what the intent is that becomes comical. The filmmaker know this, exploits it and we the audience has fun with it. If you enjoyed the movie “Grindhouse” I would strongly recommend “Bitch Slap”

Note**
Director Rick Jacobson has been directing episodes of “Xena: Warrior Princess” and "Hercules: The Legend continues"and has even convinced Lucy Lawless, and Kevin Sorbo to play quick cameos. Xena’s stunt woman Zoe Bell ("Angel Of Death") takes on the task as stunt coordinator and what envelops is the greatest chick fight ever put on screen.
