Chloe Lattanzi's contraversial new video "Play With Me " is the best of the year so far.

There has been a lot of noise about Chloe Lattanzi's new video "Play With Me"  which shows the artist engaging in scenes that depict suicide and drug use.  A lot of people are saying that this has no artistic merits and should be banned, but I think those people are just buying into the hype or they shut it off within the first minute. This is a  shocking video that is just a  representation of  how this girl wants attention from her man who doesn't even notice her.   She wants her man to pay attention to her and she feels the more drastic the methods, the more he will finally see her and love her.  Most of you at one moment have been in this type of relationship where the other one doesn't seem to care about your actions and you keep trying things to be seen by that person.  Chloe's video is a much darker version of those same themes but that doesn't mean it's there for purely shock value.

I would find it much more inappropriate if they just  showed Chloe prancing around in a sexy outfits gyrating around a bunch of men.  Instead she made a video that has a message.  Now for many of you that message will be lost and that's o.k.  I don't believe for a second that she was trying to make one that has mass appeal.  But I admire her for her bravery and on that note alone.  Chloe Lattanzi is my favorite pop singer next to Madonna.
