*** out of four stars

                                     (Theatrical Poster)

At one point in our lives there have been moments where killing your boss would seem justifiable. If you have not felt this urge, than most likely this is either your first job or you have not worked for that many companies. Trust me there is always someone at any job that you would benefit from disappearing. The bosses in this comedy use their power of being in charge to purposely ruin the lives of three men.

Nick Hendricks(Jason Bateman) was passed over for a promotion by his own boss Dave Harkin(Kevin Spacey). Kurt Buckman(Jason Sudeikis) loved his job until his boss(Donald Sutherland) had a heart attack and his doucebag son Bobby Pellitt (Colin Farrell) takes it over just to run it in to the ground and collect a profit. Now Dale Arbus'(Charlie Day) problem is one that looks awesome but if you really think about it would be a nightmare. His boss;Dr. Julia Harris(Jennifer Aniston) keeps trying to seduce him into having sex with her.   Not a bad deal except he is happily engaged and even if he wasn't.  That girl is much too psycho to be involved with. I don't care how good that pussy is. But than again the job market is rough out there.

All three men have very valid reasons why they can't leave their jobs and they come to the idea that their bosses should be disposed of permanently. Problems arise in their plans because all three of them are fucking idiots. Not brain dead morons, but the kind that lack any basic common sense. The kind that act without thinking of the full consequences and it's this results combined with the antics of the bosses that give this comedy it's strong points.

(Funny Trailer with Kevin Spacey)

Kevin Spacey is great in playing this type of asshole boss, but it's nowhere near as amazing as he was in "Swimming with Sharks". Jennifer Aniston and Collin Farrell both play against type and it works very well for this movie. I just wish there was a little bit more of them because they are really funny. I really like Charlie Day on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and while watching this movie I kept seeing his character from that show. Like a bizzareo world Charlie that has a good job and didn't live his life stalking waitresses and screwing people over. Jamie Foxx has a great small role as Motherfucker Jones. The scene where he explains how he got his name and how he scams $5,000 from the main characters is very funny.

(Funny Trailer that Highlights Colin Ferrall's performance)

"Horrible Bosses works better than "Bridesmaids" or " The Hangover Part 2" Because you like every character, even the ones you hate you still find them interesting enough to keep watching. Plus this movie fells more like a full story than just a series of sketches that are loosely tied together with a plot. The only complaint I have  is that the ending feels kind of rushed. It makes sense but at the same time I would expect to see the same thing on an episode of TV during the 80's.
