The LAMBcast 114: Heathers.

This Month The Lamb had their movie of the month contest and low and behold, yours truly won.  My pick was the 80's dark comedy "Heathers"  and I am really glad that a lot of people voted for this one.  This for me represented what high school was really like.  Not saying that my years were horrific or anything( I actually liked High School very much)   It just showed me that no matter where you are in life there are going to be assholes, and even if you do kill them all, more will just reappear in the same place.

On this episode I joined up with Sam from  Duke and The Movies, Fogs of  Fogs' Movie Reviews, and Dylan of Man I Love Films to talk about this cult classic as well as give our rants and raves of the week and play games.   I know a lot of you are going to be pissed I missed so many Chevy Chase movies, but I was nervous. This was after all my very first podcast  but not only that.  It was my first time on Skype too.  Despite my obvious nervousness I think we put together a good show.  We got in some trivia and covered a good amount of themes too.  I look forward to being on more shows after this.

I also wanted to post links to other great writers who have posted reviews about this movie.   Thank you very much for taking time to write about this movie.

Stevee Taylor:  Cinematic Paradox

Branden:     Foolish Blatherings

Abby:     No More Popcorn

 Eric:      The Warning Sign

Have a Good Week.  I'll be back later this week with my  retro review of  The Beatles animated trip fest. "The Yellow Submarine".

  1. I deleted my other post about this podcast because I didn't want too many articles about just one subject. Sorry I deleted your comments from before , but I do appreciate them very much.
