Miyazaki, Django, and Muppets. Oh My!!

Hello my dear and loyal readers.

As you all well know I contribute articles and reviews to other blogs besides this one.  Some of them I post on a weekly basis and some whenever I have the time.  I am beyond flattered to be featured on these sites because when I got into this whole blogging fiasco.  One of my main goals was to be a featured writer on another site.  I have achieved this goal by appearing on not one, but three others.  Cinematic Katzenjammer, Impassioned  Cinema, and The Large Association of Movie Blogs.    I'm also extremely honored to be one of the hosts of The As You Watch podcast and have become good friends with my co hosts Nick(Cinematic Katzenjammer) and Joe (Two Dude Review).  We have had tons of great guests on the show and it has been  a lot of fun to find other people who are just as into movies as I am.

I wanted to take just a brief moment  and post links to a few reviews I wrote and let you all know what else I do if I'm not writing on here.

Hayo Miyazaki Week.  Cinematic Katzenjammer

Nick and the rest of the CineKatz staff each write a review on the many works of master animator Hayo Miyazaki.   "My Neighbor Totoro" was my pick, but I urge you to check out the other reviews from all of  the other talented writers.  I also have written a few Pick 6 articles that are worth checking out.  Check out the Bonus Features page to read  those awe inspiring posts as well.

When Movies Attack:    Impassioned Cinema

Each month, I compare two movies that either share a similar theme or have the exact same plot.  The two that I have matched up this month are ones that use humor to deal with the serious issue of racism and they are "Blazing Saddles" and "Django Unchained".  Be sure to check out the other flicks that are being debated over on the bonus features page up top.

Top 5 of 2012 and The Muppets:    As You Watch Podcast

Top 5 of 2012.

Nick, Joe, and Myself were joined by Lindsay and Nick of French Toast Sunday to talk about our favorite movies of the last year.   A really fun show that is as much fun to listen to as it was to record.

The Muppet Movie.

It's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights, it's time to meet The As You Watch crew as they discuss the "Muppet Movie" tonight.  The special guest of this episode was Pat of 100 Years of Movies.

Trailer Trashing with The Vern -   Large Association of Movie Blogs

Every week or at least every two.  I post some ads of upcoming movies that are being released and write my reactions to them.   It's upfront, honest and a lot of fun.

Until next time, see you later.
