This is going to be a really quick one people. I thought about posting the winners in each category, but that seemed a bit silly. Besides you can look anywhere online and find out who won. This is more or less my reactions to certain key moments. To see the complete list of winners head here
Golden Globe Winners
I thought Best Supporting Actor winner Christoph Waltz was great in "Django Unchained", but would rather have the award go to Leonardo DiCaprio for his chilling performance in the same film. Oh and fuck you Oscars for not including him in your list of nominees.
"Amour" wins for best Foreign Language Film. After watching Michael Haneke's "Funny Games" earlier this week. I'm expecting something really twisted and messed up. I can't wait.
Jodie Foster announces that she is single when she accepts the Cecil B DeMille award. I would totally go on a date with her, and would not mind the fifteen year age gap between us.
Will Ferrell and Kristin Wiig's sketch about not knowing the nominees or their movies was funny for about three minutes, but then like a bad date would not stop.
The Golden Globes are now my favorite award show. They nominated Ben Affleck for Best Director and he won. This fact alone makes me even more angry that Academy members did not include him in their list of nominees. Fuck you Oscars.
I love Quentin Tarantino but his speech just sort of rambled on. Had no idea of where his story was going when he talked about his friends who read his scripts while they are in development. He never mentioned their names.
It's great to see that Jessica Chastain won for "Zero Dark Thirty". She has been amazing in every role she has tackled and redheads are just so damn hot. I just hope she will continue to make good choices when it comes to choosing projects.
